What do Customers want?

Many reasons that Customers do want from suppliers or vendors:
  • Friendly Caring Service: Friendly caring service means more than being polite Customers want to feel that they are important.
  • Flexibility: When the service delivery is not meeting customer’s needs, customers want the person helping them to jiggle the system to make it work for them. Customers do not want to hear “no”. They want you to work out a way to get them what they want or need.
  • Problem Resolution: When customers have business problems that need some attention, they want to know that you will help them find an answer, even if you can’t handle it yourself. They want to know that they will not be transferred to somebody else and have to explain their problem all over again.
  • Service Recovery: When a mistake is made, customers want it to be put right quickly and to their satisfaction. They want some sort of action that recognizes a mistake has been made and show that you are trying to put it right. When you “recover” well – your customer may be even more loyal than before.
